After 25 years in television working as an Operator and a Manager, I've “officially” branched out with my own Production Company in 2004.
I had the good fortune to start my career at Crawford Post Production, the most prestigious and innovative production facility in the Southeast. As a young man (with a very serious mustache), I saw our business evolve from the Montage Editing System to Avid, from an 8-track Analog Audio Deck to ProTools Digital. All the while, I worked on national campaigns, high-level projects and commercial spots with some of the most talented clients in the world.
After learning the tricks of the Post trade, I decided to see where all that great material came from in the first place. So I packed my family up, I became the General Manager for a beautiful production company in an even more beautiful place…Hilton Head, S.C. The experience I gained there made me even more appreciative of the dual roles Production and Post Production play in making a great final product. I packed all of this new found knowledge into a return back to Atlanta and a new role as a Supervising Producer, Production Manager and Post Specialist for hire!
Since coming back "home", I've had the privilege to produce for such well-known brands as TBS, MTV, Turner Studios, The Weather Channel, Turner Classic Movies, Graco, TNT, Turner South, Dick's Sporting Goods, Cartoon Network and many others.
I've had the privilege to know, work and celebrate good times and great projects with the very best creative minds and production "muscle" in Atlanta! Starting my own production company is now the perfect vehicle for bringing many of these talented professionals together to produce the highest level productions for broadcast, corporate and broadband, web based presentations.
To me, it will always be about creating the opportunities that bring out the BEST of everyone working on a project. When you can do that, you know the final product can't miss. And I promise, we'll all have a little fun along the way....
